The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation raised $502,200 at the 16th edition of the Lakeshore Ball
Pointe-Claire (Québec) – The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that $502,200 were raised at the 16th Annual Lakeshore Ball, which was held on Saturday, November 12th at the vibrant Montreal Airport Marriott In-Terminal Hotel. The monies raised will be used namely to enhance, redesign and integrate the Intensive Care and Cardiac Care Units at the Lakeshore General Hospital. These units will be housed in a single multifunctional space and equipped with state-of-the-art technology. This project will save valuable minutes in critical life or death situations. Many West Island companies brought their support to the Foundation's annual Ball, including the Co-Presidents of the Ball: Roxboro Excavation, Desjardins, Broccolini Construction, Santasalo, McKesson Canada, and Réseau Sélection. The event also attracted numerous sponsors: Aéro Mag, Baylis Medical, Coca-Cola, Desjardins, Le Diplomate Audiovisuel, Mirella & Lino Saputo Foundation, Groupe Spinelli, Plani-Concept Plus, Rolland Enterprises Inc., Rebellion Films, and the SAQ.
Managing Director Heather Holmes and Board Co-Chairs David Cescon and Dr. Fiore Lalla welcomed over 300 guests, including some of the most influential and well-known personalities in the community. Shaun McMahon of The Beat 92.5and Heather Holmes were the Masters of ceremony. In addition to supporting the Foundation's mission, which is to advance patient care at the Lakeshore General Hospital, guests attended a glamorous, elegant networking evening. The enchanting Brazil-themed event included cocktails, champagne, five-course gourmet dinner, open bar, and dance to the sound of the musical group Electrik. A beautiful silent auction and other entertainment were part of the evening, as well as a lot of surprises for the guests.

Founded in 1964, the Foundation's mandate is to collect the necessary funds to improve patient care at the Lakeshore General Hospital. In this way, it contributes to the purchase of state-of-the-art equipment, major structural renovations, and assists in supporting programs and specialized training for the professional staff, providing funding to initiatives not supported by the government.
