Joseph Broccolini

A graduate of Concordia University’s Bachelor of Commerce program, Joseph is a representative of the second generation of Broccolinis leading the family business. Since joining Broccolini in 1982, Joseph has played a critical role in refining the company’s strategic vision. He helped identify a niche construction opportunity in the big-box retail market and was instrumental in establishing Broccolini’s foray into the real-estate and development market.

As Executive Vice-President, Joseph is responsible for securing leasing and financing for Broccolini’s largest real-estate development projects. Since 2006, he has secured more than $2.6B in financing for the development of several high-profile projects. Joseph is also charged with managing the day-to-day financial operations of Broccolini’s Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto offices. He is heavily involved in the formation and management of Broccolini’s Limited Partnerships, raising over $2B in equity in this regard. Since coming on board, Joseph has overseen the administration of real estate portfolios representing several million square feet of industrial, office and commercial space.

Currently involved in philanthropy with the Fondation Communautaire Canadienne Italienne as President, Chairman of the Centro Leonardo Da Vinci, Honorary President of the Barry Lorenzetti Foundation and board member of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation. Previously sat on the board of the Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation.
