Place Forzani is not only the largest exhibition hall in Laval, offering a multitude of services, but also houses the franchise office of Forzani Group Ltd., the largest sporting goods retailer in Canada with over 565 stores from coast to coast. John Forzani, former offensive lineman for the Calgary Stampeders, opened his first store, Forzani's Locker Room, in Calgary in 1974.

The building consists of administrative areas as well as spaces for conventions and trade shows. It includes 75,000 sq.ft. of office space and conference rooms, including an auditorium capable of seating 500 people, and 80,000 sq.ft. for the convention centre and exhibition hall.

In order to meet the needs of the exhibition centre the facility also includes a 5-door loading dock as well as nearly 10,000 sq.ft. of warehouse space.
