ITW Muller

ITW Muller, a division of manufacturer Tool Works based in Illinois, offers packaging equipment and plastic film products. In 2004, the company mandated Broccolini with the design and construction of their new building located on Hymus Boulevard in Kirkland. One of the unique features regarding the construction of this building was having to protect against biogas infiltration from the soil in order to ensure a healthy work environment. This was achieved with the installation of an impermeable membrane under the entire building, with underground ducts which evacuate all the trapped gases through vents in the roof. This new building also provided space for the company to install an automated shrink wrapper.
