Life Sciences Condos
In 2010, Broccolini embarked on a major residential project in Ottawa: the construction of a building with 82 condominiums that included a two-level parking garage. A brick building with stone details and large windows, Life Sciences Condos stands in the heart of the Ottawa Life Sciences Technology Park. It is the first residential tower in a developing technology park that has emerged since the early 1990s. The building responds to strong demand from students and business people visiting the technology park. The building is the initiative of 25 co-owners who entrusted Broccolini with the entire project, including negotiations with the Bank of Montreal for the project's financing. It was Broccolini's first residential project in 30 years. Each of the concrete building's 12 storeys has a surface area of 7,700 sq.ft., and the average area of each housing unit is 850 sq.ft.
