Ivanhoé Cambridge, the real estate branch of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec, is the owner of Eaton Center and Complexe les Ailes. These two shopping centres are the current focus of the group's Plan Montreal - a massive investment project intended to revamp and rebuild a selection of prime properties in their real estate portfolio, a portfolio that also includes Place Ville Marie and the Queen Elisabeth hotel.
The two shopping centers, that currently welcome 34 million visitors annually, will undergo significant renovations to accommodate their biggest tenant. The renovations are expected to be completed by fall 2020. A pre-launch took place in the fall of 2019 for major tenants.
A total of approximately 500,000-sq.ft. and four storeys in both malls will be completely overhauled, and the buildings will be united.Locate on Google Map
