Ciena

Business telecommunications and networking company Ciena, needed to expand their facilities in order to accommodate their growth. The project consisted of three buildings, including two new ones, for a total area of 425,000 sq.ft. Located in the pristine Ottawa campus, the project represented an investment of 150 million dollars. Broccolini completed the simultaneous and accelerated construction of the two buildings in the allotted time-frame. The 250,000 sq.ft. of office and manufacturing space is fully leased by a single tenant - Ciena.

It is important to note that each new build required a technical laboratory, one of 59,000 sq.ft. and one of 45,000 sq.ft., representing a budget of approximately 25 million dollars.
