In order to achieve its goal of increasing the efficiency of public service operations and eliminate unnecessary costs, the Government of Canada opted to modernize its systems. This included, among other initiatives, the addition of a new centre of expertise in Miramichi. The Department of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) awarded Broccolini the contract for the design, construction, and leasing of this large-scale office building in Miramichi, New Brunswick. Broccolini designed and built the three-storey LEED Gold certified office.
